We quote everything per piece, all-in. No hidden setup fees buried in the fine print, no “oh by the way” charges after the fact. Here’s exactly how pricing works for each method.
Every project is different, so we provide custom quotes. But understanding what drives cost helps you plan your order and budget. Below is a clear breakdown of how we price each decoration method.

What Affects Cost
Stitch Count
Primary cost driver. A simple left-chest logo might be 5,000–8,000 stitches. A large back design could be 30,000+. More stitches = more thread, more machine time.
Number of Colors
Each color is a separate thread change. More colors add slight time per piece, but the impact is smaller than stitch count.
Quantity
Setup (digitizing) is a one-time cost spread across your order. More pieces = lower per-piece cost.
Garment Type
Hats and bags require special hooping and may add a small surcharge. Standard polos and jackets have no extra charge.

Screen Printing

What Affects Cost
Number of Colors
Each color requires a separate screen. A 1-color print is significantly cheaper than a 4-color print. This is the biggest cost factor.
Quantity
Screen setup is a fixed cost. At 12 pieces, you're splitting setup across a small order. At 100+, setup cost per piece becomes negligible.
Print Size
Standard print locations (left chest, full front, full back) are included. Oversized prints or wrap-around designs may add cost.
Specialty Inks
Metallic, puff, glow-in-the-dark, or discharge inks cost more than standard plastisol. We'll quote these separately.

Best Value
Screen printing shines at volume. The per-piece cost drops dramatically from 12 to 48 to 100+ pieces. Best for team orders and events.
DTF Heat Transfer
Per piece, based on print size
What Affects Cost
Print Size
Cost scales with the physical size of the transfer. A small left-chest logo costs less than a full-front graphic. Measured in square inches.
Quantity
No screen setup means small orders aren't penalized as heavily. Per-piece cost still drops with volume, but the curve is flatter than screen printing.
Number of Colors
Doesn't affect price. Full-color photos cost the same as a 1-color design. This is DTF's biggest advantage.
Garment Color
Works equally well on light and dark garments at the same price. No extra charge for dark fabric like some methods require.

Design Complexity
Intricate script or detailed lettering takes longer to guide freehand. Simple block letters are faster and more affordable.
Physical Size
A name across the back of a jacket takes more time than a small chest monogram. Size directly affects production time.
Number of Colors
Each thread color change requires rethreading the machine. 1-2 colors is standard; 3+ adds time and cost.
Garment Difficulty
Thick denim and wool are standard. Delicate or stretchy fabrics require more care and may add cost.

Walk-In & Small Batch
Personal projects, samples, gifts, and single items. Embroidery and DTF have no minimum. Screen printing isn't available at this tier due to setup costs.
Ideal For
Individual gifts, monogrammed items, testing a design before a larger order.
12–48 pieces
Standard Orders
This is where screen printing opens up and all methods start showing savings. Setup costs are spread across enough pieces to bring per-piece cost down noticeably.
Ideal For

50–249 pieces
Volume Orders
Significant per-piece savings across all methods. Screen printing becomes extremely cost-effective. Embroidery and DTF hit their best standard rates around 100+ pieces.

Large Production
Maximum standard savings. At this volume, we can also offer garment sourcing at deep wholesale pricing. Dedicated production scheduling ensures fast turnaround.
